Feeling a connection

Earlier this year, I felt inspired to read and learn more about Joseph Smith and his experiences during his younger years. I have been counting down the years to the 200th anniversary of the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ in the latter days. It all began with Joseph Smith's first uttered prayer. He wanted to know what church he should join so that he could find peace for his soul. He was worried about the immortal state of his soul.

I was excited to hear President Nelson also wanted to feature this event by inviting us to learn more about Joseph Smith and consider how our lives might be different without the truths he taught.
