As you can imagine, the past six months have been a significant departure from prior habits and routines that I had established. I have struggled to find ways to connect with others and maintain a healthy outlook. I have had reduced focus and lower energy but more demands placed on me physically and mentally.
I started this blog and forum to provide a place for myself and others to organize and share my thoughts for conference and scripture studies. This is actually one of the ways that I "Hear Him." I hate making excuses and want to get back into the habit of providing thoughtful reactions to conference talks and scripture studies.
My last planned post was:
"Actionable items from the April 2020 conference"
1)Write the Proclamation on the fleshy tablets of our hearts
2)Worldwide fast on April 10, 2020 or Good Friday.
Personal inspirations
1)Better define family goals to inspire more togetherness in home
2)Memorize the new proclamation
I plan to create a similar post next Sunday based on the October 2020 Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Since my last post we have been physically isolated, had forced schedule changes, had limited access to routine services and have been forced to adopt procedures that are time consuming and uncomfortable.
Another way of looking at this now is: we have been challenged to connect in new ways, develop new healthy habits, and find creative ways to find access to services. President Nelson encouraged us to share how we "Hear Him" with others then invite others to "Hear Him" as well. I hope this blog can help you feel connected with me in some way and possibly help you to connect with others.
