BYU Library Lectures has a YouTube playlist as a part of their First Vision Bicentennial Exhibit Lecture Series. These videos provide a rigorous historical and academic point of view to the events of the First Vision. They help paint the picture of how Joseph Smith may have remembered his account, how it fits it time of the 1800s, and how we have depicted the first vision in art over the years.
